In 2008, Burke Blue attorneys were asked by the Town of Cedar Grove to advise its town commission on the process of dissolving the town. The law regarding the dissolution of a municipality was sparse and had never in the history of the State of Florida been voluntarily undertaken a by municipality. Despite the challenges, Burke Blue guided the town through the process. After the citizens voted to dissolve the town, Burke Blue assisted in the smooth transition of the town assets to Bay County government.
